Dear Parents and Guardians,
新学年开学在即，我们又将共同度过激动人心的一学年。欢迎今年加入广州耀华国际教育学校的新家庭，我们期待在新学年的各项活动中与你们会面。在耀华，我们鼓励家长与学校充分沟通、反馈，也期望家长给予学校最大的支持。通过家校共同的努力，我们的学生定将会获得最好的教育和最愉快的学习体验。
We are delighted to welcome you to another exciting new year here at the Yew Wah International Education School of Guangzhou.We want to extend a special welcome to those families joining us at Yew Wah for the first time and look forward to seeing all of you at the various events throughout the semester. Please remember that we encourage as much communication and support from home as possible: it is a combined effort to ensure that all the students have the best education and the happiest experience at our School.

We promote a holistic education for our students, based around a focus on academic achievements, critical thinking, character development, artistic flair, musical talent and physical skills development. We have a number of new academic and non-academic staff joining the School this semester who will continue to enhance the outstanding curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for the students. We have built a strong community of learning since our foundation as a school which includes our staff (academic and non-academic), students and parent community.
今年，学校将继续提供一系列的课堂内、外学习活动，引导、鼓励学生激发自己最大的潜能。您将会注意到我们的很多新举措，包括餐厅的升级、停车场的改造、小学STEAM教室的新建，幼儿园的个人成长计划，小学英语使用IXL软件来提升学生的英语能力，中学通过LitPr平台来培养学生的英语阅读习惯；学校的各项工作我们都精益求精。游学项目也是我们课程的一个重要组成部分，我们希望学生们的学习不只局限在教室内，还要在“真实世界”里学习。在耀华，我们为学生提供诸多这样的学习机会！
This year we will continue to focus on guiding students in developing and reach their full potential by providing them with a wide variety of learning experiences both in and outside of the classroom and you will note a number of new initiatives ranging from improving the Canteen environment and parking facilities, more co-curricular clubs and activities, launch of our digital library, Primary STEAM room and individual children planning for ECE. Adopting the “IXL” platform to help primary students with their English skills, and the “LitPro” platform to cultivate secondary students English reading habits. Underpinning all of this is the “milestone planning” for university guidance to provide both parents and students a clearer understanding of the application process for universities. Education trips will play an important aspect of our curriculum, as we want our students to not just learn in the school, but also out in the “real world”. There are so many fantastic opportunities for students at Yew Wah!
