Orientation Camp of G6
作为初中部的新面孔，六年级新生个个洋溢着兴奋与期待的笑容，因为从小学湖泊中驶出的小船，即将竖起新的桅杆扬起新的风帆，驶入新的海域。
Young and immature as they might be, the new Grade 6 students bid farewell to the harbor of primary school and are sailing towards the vast ocean.

在开营仪式上，教师团队向同学们做了自我介绍，台上的教育热情与台下的青春活力即将交融在一起：情感的交融，中西的交融。
At the opening ceremony the teaching staff of Grade 6 gave a brief self-introduction. Enthusiasm of youthful vitality on and off the stage is about toblend with a fusion of Chinese and Western emotions
红蓝黄绿，团队建设
Good things will happen
未分班先分house！红色——热情四溢；蓝色——无限宽广；黄色——旭日东升；绿色——生命活力。在“团队建设师”的带领下，个体不再孤单，集体的凝聚力增强了个体的执行力。
Team Building
Red represents passion, blue eternity, yellow sunrise and green vitality. Under the guidance of our staffs, students joined hand and completed the tasks as a team.

认识新教室，适应走班制。离开提供美食的食堂，趁着午后散步，跟着老师们参观一下提供精神食粮的“食堂”——学科教室。认识一下各个学科教室的方位，为走班制做好准备。
Tour of Campus
Getting to know the new classrooms and adapting to having specialized subject classrooms, the students were guided around the campus finding their subject classrooms.
At the end of the tour, they discovered the canteen where each day they will get the chance to have delicious food and prepare for the afternoon classes.
不以规矩，不成方圆
同学们以文字加漫画的形式学习了“初中部学生手册”里的关键内容，从“作息时间”到“学校期许”，从“行为守则”到“学术诚信”，离开“母鸡带小鸡”式的小学生管理，同学们逐渐在心中建立起更高阶的规矩，只为开拓“自律”和“自治”的新“方圆”。

Students went through the key points of Students Handbook of Middle School covering timetable, behavioral expectation andacademic integrity. Self-discipline was emphasized and has been established in their minds.
动手动脑，智库体验

丰富有趣的体验课，让同学们感受了戏剧的张力，探索了科技的奥秘，领略了高尔夫的魅力，体验了击剑的刺激，令他们对初中部的学习更加充满期待。
Engaged in CCA Experience
CCA Experience enriched pupils experience in drama, science and techonology, golf and fending, boositng their expectation for middle school life.
步伐一致，队列展示
Good things will happen
“队列展示”是团队建设的成果之一，嘹亮的口号，整齐的步伐展示出同学们正用饱满的精神迎接着新学期的到来。与此同时，同学们也从“队列展示”中悟出了一个道理：中国之所以能一次又一次战胜新冠疫情，就是因为在关键时刻，能举国上下齐心协力，步调一致。
House Formation Show
The high morals demonstrated by the teenagers in House Formation Show set a good start for the forthcoming semester. They came to realize that the very success of China’s victory over waves of COVID 19 hits relies on nationwide collaboration and cooperation.
怀揣期许，进入新班
Good things will happen
同学们的精神面貌赢得了在场观摩的校长们和学部主任的赞赏目光。最后，同学们怀揣着校长的祝福和期许，进入了期待已久的新班级，认识班主任和同学，还收到了来自学长们的礼物——英语诗集，等待同学们的将是诗和远方。
Entering new classe
The youngsters’ spiritual readiness was highly praised by principals who expressed their best wishes to their new school life. Students entered new classrooms where they’ve met their tutors and classmates, and received the poetry book- gift from previous Grade 6 students.

六年级新生体验营，让同学们认识了同学和教师，感受了校园环境，体验了初中部作息制度，学习了初中部行为规范，同时完成了班级初步建设，为新学期的学习活动做好了准备
The Orientation Camp of G6 , let the students get to know their classmates and teachers, familiarized them with the timetable and behavioral expectations and established new classes; thus setting a solid foundation for thecoming new semester.
