It's all in the DNA!

奥秘都在DNA里！

Year 9 student at YCIS Puxi Secondary have started the year looking at the Biology topic Life Processes: Genetics.

本学年，上海耀中（浦西校区）的九年级学生开始了生物课题的探索，他们将学习生命过程中遗传学这一课题。

It is less than a month since the start of the new academic year, but the class have learned and discussed a fundamental amount of science content!

新学年开始不到一个月的时间，全班同学已经学习和讨论了基本的科学内容!

This small project had students learning and researching not only about the DNA, but also the important milestones of how the DNA structure was discovered, the scientists involved, and what experimentations were conducted.

在这个小项目中，学生不仅学习了有关DNA的知识，也研究了DNA结构最初是如何被发现的；有哪些科学家参与研究；进行了哪些实验等等。

"From the photos, you can see students were not only engaged in the task at hand, but they each had fun sharing ideas and collaborating with peers; whilst staying focussed on their own role in their groups. From developing research skills, to being creative in making a DNA model; each group successfully completed their DNA discovery project."
