In a world where technology, and AI more specifically, increasingly prevails, infusing our STEAM curriculum with the latest technologies gives students the toolkit they will need to solve real-life problems. With this in mind, we offer a wide range of hands-on initiatives to incorporate AI and other Future Tech across the College.

Last week, our Key Stage 3 Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students were off timetable for two hours experiencing STEAM in our annual STEAM Expo. Students could pick any 2 workshops, or experience sessions from a long list of 15 options offered by teachers, older student leaders, members of the IT department and even an external provider.

Workshops covered many areas of STEAM including Halloween photoshoot, Machine Learning, AI with Python, visual music synthesizer, boat race, Lego robotics sumo fight and much more! SE21 and the spaces around it were buzzing with excited students enjoying STEAM.

我们生活的世界是技术，尤其是人工智能日益盛行的世界。因此我们需要在STEAM课程引入最新的技术，为学生提供解决现实问题所需的工具和资源。在北京德威，我们提供了广泛的实践机会，将人工智能和其他未来技术融入到整个学校的学习中。

上周，关键阶段三（七年级、八年级和九年级）的学生在我们一年一度的STEAM博览会上花了两个小时体验STEAM相关的实践。科技展现场有老师、学生领导、IT部门成员、外部专家提供的15个项目中选择任意2个，参加与之相关的研讨会或体验课程。

研讨会涵盖了STEAM领域的许多主题，包括万圣节摄影、机器学习、Python人工智能、视觉音乐合成、科技助力赛艇比赛、乐高机器人相扑比赛等等！科技和技术中心SE21及其周围空间都是前来参加活动的兴奋的学生，他们近距离地感受到了STEAM的魅力。
