Students are admitted and placed in a grade level after considering their age, achievement level, grade level at their previous school, and emotional and physical maturity. In addition, HQIS will always take into account the student's country of origin, the educational system from which the student comes, as well as the student's past performance in that system. The age placement cut off date is September 30. 　　Grade Level Placement 　　Upon admission, students are provided with a learning program based on their readiness and maturity.
