日 常 课 程
P1 音乐 Music
我们在之前的学习中带领学生进行了乐器的学习,他们能够认识大部分中西方乐器并且能够根据乐器发出的音乐去辨识乐器的名称和不同乐器带来的不同表达形式。
除了乐器之外,我们还带领孩子们去聆听来自大自然、动物等发出的声音和音乐,宇宙中无时不刻都充满了美妙或独特的声音,这些都让孩子们对音乐世界充满好奇和探索。
在P1的课程中我们主要进行了小提琴的学习,他们鉴赏了小提琴的乐曲和表达的形式,根据不同乐器的演奏,小提琴也可以和人一样表达出喜怒哀乐的情绪。
并且孩子们学习了小提琴演奏,我们在课堂上进行了交响乐-莫扎特《G大调弦乐小夜曲》的学习实践。
In our previous studies, we led students get to know many musical instruments, they can recognize most Eastern and Western musical instruments, and can identify the names of musical instruments by the sound of the music and the different forms of expression brought by different instruments according to the music they emit.
In addition to musical instruments, we also lead children to feel the sounds and music from nature, animals, etc., students are curious about our universe,for it is full of beautiful or unique sounds.
We mainly studied the violin, they appreciated the music and expression of the violin, according to the performance of different instruments, the violin can also express the same emotions of joy, anger, and sorrow as human beings. And students learnt how to play a violin, we carried out the Mozart's "Serenade for Strings in G major" learning practice in class.
P2 人文 Humanities
在二年级课堂上,学生要求说出尽可能多的光源,并思考为什么光在我们的日常生活中如此重要。
我们用光做什么?如果我们没有光会发生什么?接下来,学生们学习了在我们的家庭和城市环境中最常用的光源的英语词汇。
最后,学生们参加了一个有趣的寻宝活动,在我们参观教师办公室和学校操场时,他们可以写下或画下他们在学校环境中看到的尽可能多的光源。
在课堂中,学生们热情地给出了他们自己的答案和观点,学会了准确地阅读和说出单词,同时与他们的伙伴一起寻找光。

In grade 2 lesson, students were asked to name as many sources of light as they can think of and consider why light is so important in our daily lives.
What do we use light for? What would happen if we didn’t have any light? Next, students were introduced to English vocabulary words of most commonly used light sources in our home and city environment.
Finally, students engaged in a fun scavenger hunt activity where they can write or draw as many light sources as they can see around our school environment as we visited the teachers office and our school playground area.
During the lesson, students gave their own answers and opinions with enthusiasm, learned to read and say the words accurately while having a great time with their partner searching for the light. Moving forward into our current unit, students learning progress looks very bright!
P1-P2 艺术 Art
在这个学习阶段,艺术家个人生平和贡献等不是我们学习的重点,我们的学习重点是通过研究艺术家的作品来了解艺术家们是如何在作品中运用和处理光线的,旨在达成这样的理解,即绘画艺术中的“黑暗“区域并不总是黑色的,就像“光”区域并不总是白色一样。

At this stage, individual artists are not the focus of the lesson as long as their work provides an opportunity to look at how light is handled. Aim to reach an understanding that dark areas of a painting/drawing are not always just black, in the same way that light' areas are not always just white.
We will talk about colors and shades, and how these are used to create contrast. The students will identify and discuss where the light is coming from in each picture. For example, the Moon. streetlamps, water and so on. Which do the students think are sources of light i.e. they produce the light themselves?
In this task, we are still taking about blight and dark, but this time, how students can paint a night sky. We learned what colors we can use to describe night, how to mix them and how to use a variety of colors, like green, purple, and blue, instead of just black.
We looked together at a series of paintings, and discuss the way that the artists have handled light and dark in their scenes.
P3 运动 Sports
P3的同学们进行了基本的体操动作的学习,包括倒立、侧手翻、前滚翻、后滚翻、垫上体操动作组合等动作的学习。
每位同学需要根据自己的身体素质特点尽力通过身体控制和平衡协调来完成指定的体操动作。
孩子们在个人体操动作展示、单双杠练习、云梯攀爬、Monkey Bar猴架接力的小组比赛中都表现出了极高的兴趣并能尽力完成运动任务。
P4 语文 Chinese
我们在语文课上学习了一篇趣味性十足的课文《牛和鹅》。
作者风趣幽默的语言和跌宕起伏的经历令孩子们兴趣盎然,文中的“我”以为牛的眼睛看人会把人看得很大所以怕人,于是孩子们就欺负牛,同时他们以为鹅的眼睛看人会把人看得很小,就特别怕鹅,还因此被鹅欺负。
我们通过小组竞赛的形式掌握了生字词并完成注释,以学生们的自我发现和自我探索为主导,批注和分享出自己感兴趣的词句。
通过不断设问和不断启发P4的同学们扮演文中的不同角色来熟悉课文内容并完成文章的学习,通过角色的转换与脑洞大开的讨论,孩子们在学习中获得自己的感受也收获了结论。
看待事物的角度和思考方式会对我们对事物的判断产生影响,辩证的思考方式会让我们更加全面的看待问题。
P3-P4 国际理解
International understanding
基于我们的学习主题“Time & place,Earth & Space”,孩子们从与人类密切相关的“地球”“月亮”“太阳”的学习内容开启了24节气的学习。
通过游戏、小组讨论、视频收集、演讲等学习形式,带着问题和寻找答案的形式来完成我们在课堂上要共同完成的内容。
24节气的来历和自然的变化,节气与人类生活和生产的关系?北斗七星为什么如此重要呢?日益进步的科技与自然规律之间的关系?科技的发展怎样让人们可以不只“靠天吃饭“?
我们一起探索节气中出现的现象:怎样的现象使昼夜平分,日食和月食的成因,一年中哪一天昼最长夜最短,植物生长、农作物收割的时节规律、节气的习俗,宇宙、太空与我们人类的生存息息相关的星球与自然变化带来的影响等,在春天的节气学习中立春、雨水、惊蛰、清明、谷雨有哪些有趣的现象?
同学们在课堂上表现出了极强的求知欲和学习热情,期待孩子们通过学习了解人类与自然万物的关系,地球是我们共同的家园。
P5 艺术 Art
火星——明暗度练习
本堂课,学生进行了明暗度和阴影的绘画练习,学习了如何用铅笔着色创造不同的明暗度。
开始阶段,学习们通过明暗度和阴影绘画的热身练笔为绘画星球做准备。本节课的目标是运用视频中的讲解方式,正确地绘制阴影、高光和中间色。本节课通过继续讲解艺术的基础形式,让学生能够理解并运用将明暗度运用在绘制的物品上。
此外,学生们观看了专业艺术家的创作视频,他们在完善了自己的着色技术后达到了超现实主义绘画的水平。希望同学们可以以此获得激励。
This class, students practiced value drawing and shading, how to manipulate the pencil to produce a range of values.
In the first part of the class, students did a warmup exercise of value scale drawing as a preparation of the following part of applying the shades on planet drawing.
The goal of the lesson was to use the guidelines from the video in order to correctly shade and blend in shadows, highlights and medium tones of the drawing.
This lesson continues of the basic formal elements of art where students were able to demonstrate and understand how to apply values to anything they are drawing.
In addition, and as motivation, students are shown with a video of professional artists who perfected their shading techniques to the point of hyper realistic drawings.
P6 戏剧 Drama
在六年级的戏剧课程中,我们的学生正在学习电影和电视录制的基础知识。
通过拍摄我们的故事,我们能够用创造性的想法和对我们社会和世界未来的希望来影响新的一代。
我们的学生正在使用学校提供的新相机来展示他们的创造力和独特的声音。
In Drama for Grade 6, our students are learning the fundamentals of film and television recording.
Through Recording our stories, we are able to influence a new generation with creative ideas and hopes for the future of our society and the world.
Our students are using a new camera provided by the school to exhibit their creativity and unique voices.
P5-P6 人文课程
Humanities
我们与学生共同讨论和学习关于太空探索的话题,为什么太空探索如此重要?我们把宇航员和卫星送入太空有哪些不同的原因?从登陆月球和探索火星进行科学研究,到将卫星送入太空,为我们提供GPS和电信能力,以及太空旅游的新产业;马斯克的SpaceX私人火箭公司将普通人送入太空的意义是什么?这些只是学生们正在学习的不同类型的任务中的一部分。
通过学习新的词汇、讨论和小组项目合作,学生们对目前人类在太空探索方面取得的进展有了更加深入和更加广泛的了解。

Why is space exploration so important? What are some different reasons we fly astronauts and satellites into space? From landing on the moon and Mars for scientific research, to sending satellites into space in order to provide us with GPS and telecommunications capabilities, as well as a new industry of Space tourism, where private rocket companies like SpaceX takes average people for a flight into space. These are just some of the different types of missions students are learning about.
Through learning new vocabulary, discussions and group projects, students have been gaining a broader understanding of the current progress space exploration has made by our human race.
