I love you, China 　　2019年9月24日，北京市第五十五中学报告厅内灯光璀璨、喜庆欢腾，北京市第五十五中学国际部学生部隆重举办庆祝中华人民共和国成立70周年大会，各级领导、海内外嘉宾、全体师生欢聚于此，畅享节日艺术盛宴，为新中国70华诞献上最真挚的祝福。 　　On September 24, 2019, there was joy and excitement in Beijing No.55 High School’s conference hall because the International Students Section celebrated of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Leaders, guests from China and abroad, teachers, and students gathered to feast on a banquet of art and give the best wishes for the China’s 70 anniversary. 　　北京外交人员服务局行政处处长宋丰岭、北京外交人员服务局行政处行政科科长滕焰、东城区教委对外交流科副科长李倩以及学校全体行政干部出席了此次庆祝大会。 　　The director of administration department of Beijing diplomatic service bureau, Song Fengling, the director of administration department of Beijing diplomatic service bureau, Teng Yan, the deputy director of foreign exchange department of Dongcheng district education commission, Li Qian, and all administrative cadres of our school attended this celebration. 　　下午13时50分，大会在庄严雄壮的国歌声中拉开帷幕。全体与会人员观看了专题记录片《鸟瞰中国》，从“源远流长”和“继往开来”两个视角共同回首中国五千年辉煌的历史，感受新中国跳动的发展脉搏。 　　At 13:50, the conference opened with the solemn and majestic national anthem. All participants watched the documentary "A Bird's Eye View of China", looking back at China's 5,000-year glorious history and appreciating China's development from two perspectives, "long history" and "building on past achievements". 　　陈红校长发表了热情洋溢的致辞，陈校长回顾了70年来中国在国家国力以及在世界舞台角色上的巨变，同时，陈校长指出，北京第五十五中学的国际教育是应国家政治外交之需而诞生，始终与国家民族的命运紧密相连，几十年来在国际教育这块新播种的热土上，辛勤耕耘，走过了不平凡的光辉历程，学校将不忘初心，砥砺创新，在新时代开启国际教育的新篇章。 　　Principle Chen Hong delivered a warm speech, reviewing 70 years of China's national strength as well as its role on the world stage. At the same time, Principal Chen pointed out that Beijing No.55 High School’s international education was born from national political diplomacy, which is always closely connected with the fate of the nation. For decades, international education has industriously sown the land, industriously, having gone through a journey of extraordinary splendor. The school will not forget the open minds, those self-motivated and driven to innovation, who open a new chapter of international education in this new era. 　　大会内容丰富，节目精彩纷呈。《祥狮献瑞》、《盛世欢歌》为整场演出奠定了吉祥喜庆的基调，腾挪跳跃的舞狮带动了我们体内沸腾的热血，铿锵激昂的鼓点敲响了新时代的旋律，让我们感受到了中华民族滚烫的血脉。中外师生们演绎的小故事更是展示了中国的飞速发展、中华文明的兼容并蓄以及外籍师生的中国情怀。 　　The conference had rich diverse and wonderful programs. Lucky Lion in Delight and Opening Prosperity Song laid a joyous and festive tone for the entire performance. The dancing lion moved with leaps and the sonorous and impassioned drum beats reflected the melody of a new era. The stories played by Chinese and foreign teachers and students demonstrated China’s rapid development, the inclusiveness of Chinese civilization and the feelings of foreign teachers and students. 　　我校一直致力于推广中国的传统文化，通过传统文化课堂教学、传统文化体验日、中国特色文化社团等课程为外籍学生们搭建了了解中国传统文化、了解中国的平台。演出中，各类课程教学成果也精彩亮相，从抑扬顿挫的吟诵到字正腔圆的京剧，从合辙押韵的快板到轻盈灵动的古典舞，再到神秘惊艳的变脸无一不体现着中华传统文化的丰富多样，演员们精彩娴熟的表演掀起了阵阵高潮，并获得了在场观众嘉宾的高度赞赏。 　　Our school has been committed to promoting traditional Chinese culture and has built a platform for foreign students to understand traditional Chinese culture and China through classroom emersion, traditional cultural experiences, cultural association with Chinese characteristics and other activities.
