时光冉冉，转眼邓宗瀚已经是万源协和双语学校五年级的学生了。在学校开放、多元化的办学理念下，在认真负责、细心慈爱的老师们的带领下，他的潜力和热情都被激发出来。每一天都在成长，自信乐观、诚信礼貌、品学兼优。

Time runs on and passes so quickly, Timmy is already a fifth-grade student of Wanyuan campus. Under the school's open and diverse philosophy, his potential was nurtured and his enthusiasm inspired by the careful and responsible teachers. Every day he makes strides in self-confidence and optimism, integrity and politeness, quality and excellence.

邓宗瀚从小就热爱运动，一年级的时候，就参加了学校的击剑俱乐部，这项运动一直伴随着他的课余时光。在赛场上，当他拿起佩剑的那一刻开始，就像一个勇往直前的战士，不畏艰难，所向披靡。狭路相逢勇者胜，击剑运动教给他不抛弃、不放弃的勇者精神，不管是赛场，还是学习生活中，始终保持一颗积极、乐观、向上的心。

Timmy loved sports from an early age, and in his first year, he joined the school's fencing club, a sport which he also pursued in his spare time. On the field, when he first picked up the sword, the moment began, and like a warrior he went forward, fearless of hardship,On the narrow road he met brave victory: Fencing taught him to not abandon, to not give up the spirit of bravery, whether it is in the sport or in his studious life, and to always maintain a positive, optimistic, upward heart.

多年的辛苦训练在2019年取得了佳绩，在全国击剑俱乐部联赛东部赛区U10男子个人佩剑的比赛中，有专业选手参赛的情况下，打入32强。上海市学校联盟击剑赛，获得U10男子个人佩剑第三名。

Years of hard training came to fruition in 2019, with professional players competing in the U10 men's individual fencing competition in the eastern division of the National Fencing Club League. Shanghai School League fencing competition, in which he won the U10 men's individual fencing third place finish.

每到冬天的时候，雪白的赛道上就会多一道风驰电掣的身影。亚布力、长白山、北大壶、长野等一条条雪道，被一一征服。

Every winter, the snow-white track will be more of a wind galloping figure. Yabuli, Changbai Mountain, Beida Pot, Nagano and other snow tracks, was conquered one by one.

除了热爱运动，邓宗瀚对音乐也有着浓厚的兴趣。2018年学校成立万源弦乐团，从小学习大提琴的他第一时间报名参加了弦乐团。从大提琴副首席，到大提琴首席，再到弦乐团团长，在学校老师的指导和鼓励下，琴技有了突飞猛进的提高，并且学会了团队合作，与其他同学共同进步。

In addition to his love of sports, Deng Zonghan also has a strong interest in music and starting learning the cello from an early age. In 2018, the school established the Wanyuan String Orchestra and he first signed up to join the string orchestra. From there he went on to become the deputy chief of the cello, to the chief of the cello and finally to the head of the string orchestra. Under the guidance and encouragement of the school teachers, his piano skills have improved by leaps and bounds and he has learned to work together with other students to improve.

我眼中的学校是一个“学贯中西”的大舞台。既有中国传统文化的专业课——毛笔书法，也有兴趣爱好班——京剧，还有每个学期的汉文化节，穿汉服、行汉礼、吟诗作对；与此同时，每学年的嘉年华活动也让同学们了解学习亚洲、欧洲、美洲、澳洲等世界各国的文化、风俗、建筑、历史知识。学古今、学中西，学无止境。

In my eyes, the school is a big stage of "learning from China and the West". There are both Chinese traditional culture professional courses such as brush calligraphy and interesting hobby classes such as Beijing Opera. In addition each semester there is the Han Culture Festival, where students wear Han clothing, learn Chinese etiquette, poetry. At the same time, each school year, we have our ‘Carnival’, this encompasses a variety of activities which enable students to learn about countries around the world, different customs, architecture, history, and the ancient and modern world. Chinese and Western ,I will learn endlessly.

邓宗瀚是一个阳光帅气，稳重善良的孩子。他积极参与学校的各项活动，并且都有不错的表现。对于老师，他尊重有礼；在平时和同学的相处中，也和谐融洽，因此深受大家的喜爱；学习上，邓宗瀚踏实认真，凭借努力，曾获得年级学习之星的称号。课余时间，他坚持练习大提琴和击剑，寒冬酷暑，一年一年，从不间断，并且在各级赛事中均取得了不错的成绩。舞台上、他是优雅的大提琴王子；赛场上，他是勇敢的击剑小将。点滴汗水凝结成甜美的果实，希望在今后的日子里，邓宗瀚同学继续带着努力和坚持，一步步走向更美好的地方。

Timmy is a cheerful, handsome and kind-hearted child. He actively participates in various school activities and has performed well. He is respectful  and helpful to teachers. He also gets along so well with everyone in the class. In terms of learning, Deng Zonghan is earnest and hard-working, and with his hard work, he has won the title of Learning Star in his grade. In his spare time, he insisted on practicing cello and archery, in the cold winter and scorching heat, year after year, being unstoppable, he has achieved good results in all levels of competitions. On the stage, he is an elegant cello prince.On the field, he is a brave young fencing player. Bits of sweat condense into sweet fruits. I hope that in the days to come, Deng Zonghan will continue to work hard and persevere to gain a better achievement step by step.
