The fifth World Laureates Association (WLA) opened on November 6 with the launch of the WLA High School League initiated by WLA, together with Shanghai High School, the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Shenzhen Middle School, etc. BASIS International & Bilingual Schools · China, the only international school among the 13 members, has made it to the Inaugural WLA High School League. 11月6日，在世界顶尖科学家协会(简称“顶科协”)开幕式上，顶科协与上海中学、北京人大附中、深圳中学等校共同发起的世界顶尖中学联盟宣布成立，中国·贝赛思国际学校成为首批13所联盟学校中唯一入选的国际学校。以学术立校的中国·贝赛思国际学校，将获得世界顶尖科学资源的赋能，推动科创教育体系向更高水平、更深层次、更广领域发展。

The World Laureates Association Forum (WLA Forum), initiated by WLA, has celebrated five openings as the highest-profile science conference and the foremost scientific gathering of prize winners in the world. President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory letter and delivered a video address to the WLA Forum.

The World Laureates Association (WLA) was registered in Hong Kong in 2017 and is the largest non-governmental and non-profit organization for scientists worldwide. WLA has two hundred laureate members (including 68 Nobel Laureates, 26 Wolf Prize Winners, 15 Lasker Award Winners, 9 Turing Award Winners, etc.), who are from 80 leading laboratories and research institutions in 25 countries around the world.

世界顶尖科学家协会（World Laureates Association，WLA,简称“顶科协”)于2017年在香港创设，是目前全球规模最大的非政府、非营利科学家组织，现有近200位顶尖科学家会员，均为世界顶尖科学大奖的获得者（其中包括诺贝尔奖68位、沃尔夫奖26位、拉斯克奖15位、图灵奖9位等），会员覆盖全球25个国家、80余所大学和研究机构。

To perform the mission of “promoting basic science, advocating for international cooperation, and supporting the development of youth”, the WLA Forum brings cutting-edge scientific achievements and perspectives to China every year, which has created a nurturing ground and environment to stimulate and practice innovation. Themed "Science Forward: Create a Bright Future", the fifth WLA Forum has involved two co-organizers, China Association for Science and Technology and China Central Radio and Television in addition to the founder of the event, WLA. The participants include 60 leading scientists from over 20 countries spanning 12 time zones and over 200 young scientists including 27 Nobel laureates, who have either tuned in or attended offline.

为了践行“推动基础科学、倡导国际合作、扶持青年成长”的三大使命，WLA Forum每年将前沿的科学成果和思考带到中国，为激发创新、实践创新创造了良好的土壤和环境。今年的论坛由世界顶尖科学家协会、中国科学技术协会、中央广播电视总台共同主办，主题为“科学向新，共创未来”，来自全球20多个国家和地区、跨越12个时区的60位全球顶尖科学家，200多位青年科学家应邀以线上或线下形式出席，其中包含27位诺贝尔奖得主。
