上海星河湾双语学校G6-G9法治教育专题讲座顺利召开,11月16日下午,上海星河湾双语学校邀请了我校法治副校长——上海市闵行区人民检察院第七检察部郑曙晓检察官作为主讲人开展法治教育专题讲座。此次讲座包含六七年级和八九年级两场讲座。

针对六七年级学生,郑检察官开展了有关防治校园暴力的专题讲座。郑检察官在讲座伊始提出了应该如何定义校园暴力的问题。随后,郑检察官通过一则动画视频为大家介绍了校园暴力的三种形式——言语暴力、肢体暴力以及结帮暴力。接着,郑检察官介绍了参与校园暴力的四种角色——施暴者、受害者、协助者和保护者。最后郑检察官为同学们提供了十条锦囊。同学们明白了平时需谨慎交友,警惕不良信息,不模拟暴力镜头,保持低调朴素。即使遇到侵害也不要慌,立即尝试寻找帮助才是最好的方案。

针对八九年级学生,郑检察官开展了有关犯罪原因及自我保护的专题讲座。郑检察官在讲座伊始提出了法律是什么、犯罪是什么的问题,激发了学生们的学习兴趣。随后,郑检察官介绍了未成年人犯罪的相关知识,点明未成年人犯罪因年龄段不同而有不同标准。郑检察官还对未成年人违法案件进行了法律分析,以此警醒同学们犯罪的严重性。接下来,郑检察官介绍了未成年人犯罪的主要类型包括盗窃、寻衅滋事、抢劫、故意伤害等。最后,郑检察官以案例竞答的方式结束了本场讲座,使学生们逐渐意识到:法律不仅仅是约束犯罪的工具,它还承载了人类文明千年来对善良与邪恶这一永恒主题的认知与对光明的永不停歇的追求与坚守,让世世代代的人都能发自内心地讲文明,而不是披着进化的外皮实则难逃野蛮的驾驭。

“人之初性本善”,青少年犯罪必然是有后天原因的,这主要包含不良交往、网络信息污染、影视媒介、家庭原因以及心理问题等多种因素。最危险的猛兽藏于人心,然而“克己自制,天下至强”。青少年应懂得明辨是非,人际交往要“择其善者而从之,其不善者而改之”。青少年还要养成良好的生活习惯,“勿以善小而不为,勿以恶小而为之”,让邪恶没有可乘之机。

On November 16th, Shanghai Starriver Bilingual School were delighted to have invited Mr. Zheng Shuxiao, a prosecutor of People’s Procuratorate Minhang District, to give students a lecture regarding school bullying for Grade 6 to 7 students and juvenile delinquency for Grade 8 to 9 students.

The lecture for Grade 6 to 7 students, Prosecutor Zheng created a lively atmosphere by interacting with students. She provided students with several solutions to bullying in school. At the beginning of the lecture, Zheng presented students with a question: Do you know what school bullying is? Students said that it is the isolation, denunciation, and physical harm towards certain students. Zheng used a video to explain the three types of bullying: Verbal bullying, physical bullying, and group bullying. Verbal bullying is the use of words to harm the victim. Physical bullying is anything that causes direct harms to the physical being of the victim. Group bullying is the forming of groups that isolates the victim from other students.After watching a few excerpts from films, students realized the roles that people could play in school bullying. In one scenario where one victim who is being bullied, there are five roles: the bullied, the bully, the assistants of the bully, the upstanders who tries to help, and the bystanders who do nothing. Zheng taught students the idea that violence is never the key to the problems.Zheng suggested several tips, and here are few the students could follow:

Tip 1: Do not ever become the bully, because it will cause you a lot of trouble afterwards.

Tip 2: Avoid becoming the victim and know how to save yourself.

Tip 3: Always think twice before you decide to injure someone by any means.

Tip 4: Be the upstander if you have the ability to help.

Tip 5: Never use violence to solve violence, for it will just lead to more and more problems.

The lecture for Grade 8 to 9 students, Ms. Zheng began the lecture by introducing the daily work of a prosecutor, so that the students know better about the function of procuratorate in our country. Then, Ms. Zheng informed students about different degree of juvenile delinquency, which varies by the age range (i.e., 12 to 14, 14 to 16, and 16 to above). The older the criminal is, the more they need to be responsible for the crime. Common crimes in juvenile delinquency include larceny, murder, and rape. Ms. Zheng also provided specific cases for each type of the crime.During the lecture, we the students actively interacted with Ms. Zheng and participated in every question Ms. Zheng has asked. Many of us showed great interest in the procuratorate system. Thanks to the thought-provoking guiding question that Ms. Zheng offered us, after the lecture was over, we have gained more knowledge about this field. Learning about juvenile delinquency not only widens our knowledge on Chinese legal system, but also reminds us of the essence of law. We hope that the students will keep in mind that legal system is an important part of our life, and we can apply the knowledge we have learned in the future.
