开学第一天，怀着热情与期盼的哈罗各校长及教职工都早早守候在校门口，以饱满的热情和笑脸迎接每一位学生和家长。

有的学生在兴高采烈地跟老师分享暑假的有趣经历、有的早已找到自己伙伴表达着许久未见的思念、还有的在学校精心布置的欢迎场景中不亦乐乎地拍照。对于新一年的学习旅程，他们充满了期待。

In the early morning on the first school day, headmasters and all teaching staff of AISL Harrow Schools waited enthusiastically at the school gate until their eyes met the blithe smiles of our students and their parents. 

While some students eagerly shared with teachers their extraordinary moments throughout the holiday, some expressed their happiness for the much-anticipated reunion with their fellows. Some pressed the shutter in the front of the special welcoming installation. With enthusiasm and joy, everyone reuniting at the campus look forward to a new school term.

‘Hello, everyone. Welcome back to the campus. It’s a pleasure to see you again!’ Meticulously arranged by the school, the first page of the chapter about new academic year is began with anticipation and encouragement.

迎接学生们的，除了哈罗全体教职工的热情，更有周全实际的安全准备——所有人在进入校园前都需要测量体温和消毒。无论何时，哈罗都把学生们的健康、安全放在首位。

除此之外，部分校区还在假期期间对学校进行了“大升级”，优化及维护校园足球草坪、增建高尔夫训练室、扩充图书馆书目等，不断追求为学生们提供更舒适更安全的成长环境。

To welcome our students back to the campus, AISL Harrow Schools have all health and safety measures well-planned and implemented. Every student must have a body temperature check and hand disinfection as they enter the campus. At AISL Harrow Schools, we take it very seriously because the wellbeing of our students always come first.

During the summer holiday, certain campuses also had some ‘major upgrades’, such as football field optimisation and maintenance, construction of golf training rooms and expansion of libraries, providing our students with an even more comfortable and safe environment.

如何让学生们拥有开学后快乐的第一堂课？哈罗各校经验丰富的老师们对此早有准备——“破冰活动”、精心装扮的教室、神秘的“开学礼包”、甚至还有手写的欢迎信......

看！学生们积极踊跃地举手发言，在哈罗各校老师们的精心安排下，学生们再次感受到了学习的乐趣，并迅速进入状态，为接下来的学习之旅做好准备。

How to give our students a happy start to another school term? Our seasoned teachers at AISL Harrow Schools prepared a wide range of ‘ice-breaking activities’, fun classroom decorations, secret welcome gift packs and handwritten welcome letters.

Look! The students enthusiastically raised their hands to speak. Under the thoughtful arrangement of Harrow’s teachers, these young scholars-to-bes have found the joy of learning again and fully prepared for another learning journey.

Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship ●

开学集会，是专属于同学们的“入学仪式感”！

各校校长都在集会中致辞表达了在新学期伊始对同学们的欢迎、在今后的学习生活中对大家的期待。相信哈罗学子都能在“勇气、荣誉、谦和、互助”四大核心价值理念的指引下，在未来找到学习的方向和属于自己的闪光点。

此外，集会中还有哈罗的特色环节——学习“顶帽礼”。

在校长逐一为同学们戴上象征哈罗百年历史的硬草帽后，同学们将会学习哈罗传统礼仪——“顶帽礼”，即学生们在见到老师或校长时将以食指轻点帽檐以示尊敬。

同学们还参与了动手组装自己的院舍旗帜、跟随老师学习哈罗特色词汇......逐渐在各式各样的活动中熟悉新朋友，融入哈罗大家庭的新生活。

Here is the solemn ceremony for International Harrovians.

At the assembly, our Headmasters addressed our welcome and expectations to our students. Guided by our core values – Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship, these Harrovians will find their strengths and talents in the future.

And, of course, we won’t forget the Bill.

The Headmaster put the symbolic hat on every student, teaching them to respect and honour ‘the Bill’ – Harrow’s time-honoured ceremony where a student will point to their hat brim with their index finger as the Headmaster passes by as a sign of respect.

The students also gathered to assemble their house flags and learned the Harrow vocabulary from our teachers. They also befriended fellow students as they joined various activities offered in the Harrow family.

哈罗的寄宿团队，同样也为同学们的到来进行了精心准备。

寄宿在学校，学生们将在这里学习如何独立、培养自己的生活技能、和老师同学友好相处。在课余时间，还能享受到哈罗丰富多彩的课外活动！音乐、绘画、足球、篮球自不必说，更有射击、马术、园艺、高尔夫等应有尽有的学习拓展机会。

除了老师的贴心关怀、丰富多彩的课外活动，哈罗还有优越的住校硬件设施，在多种加持下，哈罗学子成为“隔壁家小孩”指日可待！

Harrow’s boarding teams are fully prepared to welcome our students back. 

Growing up in a boarding school fosters a student’s independence and varied life skills; it also gives them a precious opportunity to bond with teachers and fellow international Harrovians – as well as to enjoy extracurricular activities galore - music, painting, ball games, shooting, equestrian, gardening, golf... Different activities offer learning and development opportunities in abundance.
