刚刚升入一年级的小萌新们不知不觉中已经在德闳度过了两周的学习生活,这两周,他们在老师的引导下熟悉了周围的环境,同学间的陌生感也慢慢减少,渐渐地适应了从幼儿园过渡到小学带来的种种变化,不少孩子还结交了很多新朋友。
爸爸妈妈们是不是很好奇,这两周孩子们在课堂上学了些什么,表现得怎么样,又有哪些收获和体验呢?让我们一起进入课堂,一探究竟!

The first graders who has just joined Dehong have quietly spent two weeks of study life in Dehong. In these two weeks, they have started to get familiar with the surrounding environment under the teachers’ guidance; and the sense of strangeness among classmates has been slowly grown minimal. They are gradually adapting to various changes brought about by the transition from kindergarten to elementary school. Many students have also made new friends.

这两周,为帮助一年级的小萌娃们养成良好的学习习惯,Sherry老师在行为规范和学习习惯养成方面下足了功夫。

In the past two weeks, in order to help the little kids in the first grade develop good study habit. Their teacher Ms. Sherry has made great efforts in managing the discipline in class and culturing classroom rules.

小眼睛看老师,小嘴巴不说话,
小手小脚放放好,小背挺挺直。

课堂纪律关系到一堂课的教学效果,进入小学后,孩子们就不能再像幼儿园上课那般自由自在, 在一年级刚入学时就要让他们知道课堂规范,为今后课堂上的高效学习打下坚实的基础。
这不,小萌娃们已经渐渐熟悉了小学课堂的要求,上课前,他们从书包柜中拿出语文书、笔袋和文件袋后进入教室,安安静静地坐在座位上等着老师开始讲课。

The quality of teaching is related to the classroom discipline. After entering elementary school, children can no longer be free in classrooms as they were in kindergartens. Right at the beginning of their school years, they shall know what to do and what not to do in class, which forges a solid foundation for their efficient classroom learning in later days.
See, the first graders have gradually become familiar with the elementary classroom requirements. Before class, they took out their Chinese textbooks, pencil cases, and file bags from their schoolbag cabinet to the classroom, quietly sitting in their seats ad waiting for the teacher to start.
这些规范坐姿都是语文课本中《我爱学语文》一课中提到的,无形中将课本知识与实际课堂联系起来。
每天的晨读也是学习习惯养成不可或缺的一环,大声朗读课本内容,既是为了让学生们熟悉课本内容,也是为接下来的语文学习做好准备,在朗朗读书声中体会语言的魅力。
左手压书、右手指读的阅读方式,是为了减少孩子们粗心地漏读或错读的坏习惯,培养他们认真、仔细看书的态度。
学生们已经在之前的语文课堂上跟着Sherry老师学习了《我是中国人》,《我是小学生》的课文内容,对自己的身份有了清晰的认识。
而今天的课堂上,Sherry老师先是带着学生们一起诵读儿童歌谣《半半歌》,帮助学生积累词语,培养语感;
接着做起了数字手指操,边念儿歌边做相应动作,通过做游戏提高学生们的注意力,帮助他们更加投入稍后的课堂学习中;
随后,Sherry老师又让学生们开小火车,依次以“我喜欢在校园的什么地方做什么”造句,让他们对德闳校园建立起更清晰的方位感,同时也锻炼了他们的口语表达能力。

习惯的养成和能力的培养不在一朝一夕间,需要老师们长期的塑造,所以今天的语文课上,Sherry老师再次通过学生们感兴趣的方式帮助他们尽快熟悉课堂基本要求和掌握语文基本能力。
她带着大家乘坐语文号探索船一起漫游,在冒险的过程中发现了“听、说、读、写”四箱宝藏:
听:自己先安静了,才能听到别人在说什么,认真听别人的发言也是学习的一种方式。
说:回答问题之前要举手,征得老师同意;回答问题要大声,清楚地表达自己的想法。
读:坐姿端正、爱惜书本;刚开始阅读的时候可以用手指着字,一个一个看,熟练以后可以把书捧起来稍稍倾斜着读。
写:正确的握笔姿势能给小学学习开一个好头,端正的写字姿势是认真学习的一种表现。
Sherry老师为了帮助小萌娃们掌握正确的握笔姿势,让学生们在练习纸上进行控笔训练。爸爸妈妈们在家里也可以让孩子适当的做一些握笔训练,帮助他们尽快养成良好的书写习惯。

柏拉图说过:“人类在幼年时期,人格和个性最容易受到教育的影响,想要塑造成什么模样,就可以塑造成什么模样。” 刚进入校园的孩子犹如一张白纸,一切为零,从零开始的教育才更加重要。
对于CML学科,一年级初期阶段,我们非常注重课堂常规和学生学习习惯的养成。一年级作为学生生活中的第一个转型期,它和幼儿园时期完全不同,是孩子对“学习”、“上学校学习”这件事建立最初观念的时期。我们的核心任务是帮助学生建立良好的学习习惯与培养自信。我们希望在CML课堂上,学生可以享受课堂学习的乐趣,积极发言,敢于发表各自的见解。
开学以来,我关注到我们一年级的学生热爱学校,享受课堂,给予他人善意和关爱,表现出良好的学生素养与较强的适应能力。我衷心地祝愿他们在接下来的校园生活和学习生涯中,如烈日下的五星红旗一般迎风飘扬、绽放异彩!

Plato once said, and I roughly quote, when human beings are young, their personality and individuality are most easily affected by education; they can be shaped into whatever they want. A child who has just entered school is like a blank sheet, everything is left to be filled, which makes education from scratch more important.
For CML subjects, we tend to pay great attention on the development of classroom rules and students’ learning habits in the early stage of Grade 1. The first-grade marks as the transitional period in students’ lives: it is rather different from their kindergarten periods, and it establishes their initial ideas about learning and studying in school. Our main mission to help student cultivate good study habits and build self-confidence. We hope that, in CML classes, students can enjoy the fun of classroom learning, speak actively, and be confident to express themselves.
Since the beginning of school, I have noticed that our first graders’ love for the school. They enjoy the classroom and give others kindness and care. I sincerely hope that they will flutter in the wind and shine like the red flag under the scorching sun in the upcoming campus life.

一年级的数学课堂上,Michaelia 老师正在和学生们一起进行分类、画圈、数数、连线的学习。

分一分,圈一圈
学生们需要先仔细观察练习本上的图案,将物品通过形状、颜色、种类、状态等进行分类,然后把同类的物体用铅笔圈出来。有些学生会调皮地将圆圈画成自己喜欢的形状,但请记住哦,画圈要简单美观,不能交叉,不能压到图案,这才是最正确的画法呢。

数一数
数字有很多不同的表示方式:有阿拉伯数字1、也有用中文书写的“一”,当然还有用英文表达的One。
让我们伸出右手食指,指着书本上的小圆片,数一数一共有几个小圆片呢。
连一连
“分一分,圈一圈”之后,学生们需要将圆圈与相应数量的小圆片进行连线,一步一步地加深他们对数字的理解。
Michaelia 老师还会借此机会训练学生们的拓展思维,10把剪刀和数字10相连,那数字10还能和哪些词语连接起来呢?可以和我们生活中的很多实际物体连接起来哦,例如10幢大楼,10辆小汽车,10顶小帽子等等。
小萌娃们处于还需要具体物件帮助他们理解数字概念的年龄段,他们知道三个苹果加四个苹果等于七个苹果,但是他们却很难理解3+4=7这个等式,所以低年级在学习计算时,需要联系日常,借助计数棒、双色片等工具辅助教学。
在一年级的数学课上,Michaelia老师就会结合学生们的生活环境,给他们创造合作讨论、独立思考的机会;设置一些日常生活中可能会出现的数学情景,让学生们用数学语言表达某一问题,提高他们的口语表达能力。

The first graders are in the age group where they need specific objects to help them understand the concept of numbers. They know that three apples plus four apples equal seven apples, but they shall have difficulty understanding the same equation with numbers. So, in lower grades, the teachers need to make associations with their daily lives and assist teaching with tools such as counting sticks and red-blue coins for Maths teaching.
In the first-grade Maths class, Ms. Michaelia will combine the students’ living environment to create opportunities for teamwork discussions and independent thinking. The teacher also set up Maths scenes which may appear in real life situations and let students describe particular problems in Mathematical language, improving their skills of oral expression.

在孩子们每周带回家的练习本上,爸爸妈妈们可以一目了然地看到自己的孩子上一周在数学课堂上所学的内容,Michaelia老师在练习本上的标注是相应的评估标准,帮助你们和孩子一起梳理巩固重要的学习知识点;同时,Michaelia老师也鼓励学生每天和爸爸妈妈沟通互动,将课堂上的学习内容用口头表达的方式呈现。
如果孩子回家后想当爸爸妈妈的“小老师”,传授给你们他在课堂上学到的知识,爸爸妈妈可以积极提问,帮助他巩固学习内容哦~
In the exercise book the children bring home weekly, parents can see at a glance what their children have learned in the Maths class last week. Ms. Michaelia has also included the related marking criteria on the students’ exercise books, helping you and your children sort out and consolidate important knowledge points.
If your child wants to be your tutor after school and share their classroom knowledge with you, parents can also actively ask questions to help him strengthen their learning.
