焕然一新的上海诺德安达ECA活动，今年有哪些重要的升级与改变？

作为学校课内课程的辅助和补充，每学期十周的课外活动不仅丰富孩子们的课外生活，激发学生多元发展的可能，更重要的是发掘每一个学生内在潜能，让学生们在协作活动中培养专注力、动手能力，激发了学生兴趣，构建起超越课堂的学习型社区。

本学年，我们提供近250种课外活动，并采用CCA(co-curricular activities)+ECA(extra-curricular activities)模式，为学生提供个性化的多元学习方案，让日常课程锦上添花，校园生活更加丰富。

CCA活动项目即课程辅助活动，是带有选拔机制的课外活动，由老师主导，如体育校队、表演艺术团队及爵士乐队等。在CCA学术活动中，我们为学生提供了分层学习的机会：学有余力的学生可以通过选拔参加例如世界学者杯等学术竞赛，而在语言学习稍有不足的同学可以在课余进行一对一的辅导。

ECA活动项目主要由学生根据自己的兴趣爱好进行自主选课，部分活动可由学生主导，老师监管。课外活动为学生提供了充分探索与挖掘自身热爱的平台，他们能接触到学业之外那些他们最感兴趣的事物，并将其发展为终身爱好。

在学校目前规模最大的地理俱乐部中，学生在十周的学习中，围绕大气环境、国家等主题进行学习，并将自己的学习成果以制图的形式进行呈现。而在绘制海报的过程中，学生需要运用到不同学科下所涉及的能力培养：信息搜集、归纳、整理、语言表述及创意抒发。这些能力的展示也与学校日程课程环环相扣，逐步递进。

新学年，NACIS课外活动项目将进行分区管理。中小学部将根据不同年龄段学生的培养目标进行区分管理，从而迈向高质量的提升。

中学部ECA活动将与学科进行紧密地关联，将通过不同形式的学术竞赛、团体活动等着力于学生学术与能力的双提升。

小学部则通过ECA的丰富形式探索面向未来的教育实施路径，从项目式学习、跨学科融合、传统特色主题活动等方面，提升学生的核心素养。

新学年，学校积极采纳家长的意向，并响应政府号召探索５＋２延时服务新模式，拓展全新FLL项目、完善爱心看护服务，以提升所有NACIS大家庭的整体满意度。

ECA活动将于10月正式开启。目前，各项准备工作已在校园的各个角落陆续开启。

表演艺术部门已向有意向加入的同学开放了选拔。合唱队、音乐剧团队均已开放招募。

运动也一直是校园生活的核心，是展现全人教育的重要途径。体育教育不仅教会学生掌握专业的体育技能，让孩子们拥有强健的体魄，更能让学生在身心都在发生变化的成长阶段，促成他们身心的成熟。

在上海诺德安达，ECA活动项目与学术课程同等重要，它是课堂的延伸，承载着学生对世界的无尽的好奇与探索。每个学生都能从这些精彩纷呈的活动中找寻到自己的最爱，并投入巨大的热情与专注。与此同时，他们也将收获受益终生的财富，或许是提高的成绩，或许是一群志同道合的知音，更或许是从此被改变的人生规划。

As a supplement to the in-class courses, the ten-week ECAs in each semester can enrich children's extracurricular life and stimulate the diversified development. More importantly, it can also explore the inherent potential of each student, help them cultivate concentration and hands-on ability through collaborative activities, stimulate their interest, and build a learning community beyond the classroom.

This year, we provide students with nearly 250 kinds of extracurricular activities with the CCA (co-curricular activities) + ECA (extra-curricular activities) model. We offer personalized and diversified learning plans for students to make daily learning even better and enrich their school life.

The CCA programme, namely, co-curricular activities, will offer extracurricular activities based on selection such as sports teams, performing arts teams, and jazz bands led by teachers. In the CCA academic activities, we provide students with the opportunity to learn based on levels. The more-able students can participate in academic competitions such as the World Scholars Cup through selection, while students who are slightly inadequate in language learning can participate in one-to-one language tutoring after school.

Students can choose ECAs based on their own interest, and they can also launch the ECAs under the guidance of teachers. ECAs provide students with a platform to fully explore their passions. They can learn knowledge and skills that they are most interested in and develop lifelong hobbies.

In the largest geography club, students learn around the topics of atmospheric environment and countries during the ten weeks and present their learning results in the form of graphics. During the process of drawing posters, students need to apply the skills involved in different disciplines such as information collection, induction, sorting, language expression and creative expression, which will also be linked to the schedule and courses.

In the new academic year, our primary and secondary have reviewed all our ECAs to ensure they meet the needs of our students. 

Linked to the subjects, the secondary ECAs will focus on the comprehensive improvement of academics and abilities through different forms of academic competitions and group activities. The primary ECAs will help explore future-oriented education paths and enhance the core literacy of students in terms of subject-based learning, interdisciplinary integration, and traditional thematic activities.

In the new academic year, we are also introducing a new model of 5+2 service based on parents’ suggestions and to increase the service content such as Future Leader Lab and Student Care and therefore improve the overall satisfaction of all NACIS families.

The ECAs will officially start in October. At present, we are preparing for the programme.

The performing arts department has launched auditions for students who are interested in our choir and the musical ensembles.

As the core part of school life, sports are important ways to realize holistic education. Through PE classes, students can not only master professional sports skills, but also develop their fitness and promote physical and mental maturity. They also develop teamwork and leadership skills.
