PARENTS OPEN DAY

硕果金秋，满载丰收喜悦；蓝天白云，怀揣憧憬理想。为了让家长更真实、全面、近距离的了解孩子在校的学习情况，增进家校联系，更好实现家校共育。9月17日，浦东协和（三林校区）举行了家长开放日活动，家长们走进校园，和老师们一对一的进行交流。

The golden autumn of fruits is full of harvest joy; Blue sky and white clouds with dreams. In order to let parents have a more real, comprehensive and close understanding of their children's learning in school, enhance home school contact and better realize home school coeducation. On September 17, Pudong SUIS (Sanlin Campus) held an open day for parents. Parents walked into the campus and communicated with teachers one-on-one.

开放日主场设于学习资源中心，学科老师们展示了各自的课程涵盖内容、本学期的教学大纲和目标以及教材展示。

The Parents open day was hosted in the LRC. Subject teachers showed their course content, syllabus and objectives of this semester as well as examples of  teaching materials.

一些家长就课程教授形式、学生课堂互动状态、学习表现等和老师们进行积极沟通。

Some parents actively communicated with teachers about the teaching methodology, classroom interaction and their childs learning performance. 

一些家长就升学规划问题和老师们展开积极讨论。

Some parents also had active discussions with teachers about their further pathway towards higher education。

“青少年心理系列讲座”第二期也在新学年之初拉开了帷幕。陈静老师用形象生动，深入浅出的语言讲述了青春期孩子的心理特征，家长应该如何建立与孩子的有效沟通，让家长更直观地了解怎么与处在青春期的孩子相处。

The second edition of "series of lectures on adolescent psychology" also opened at the beginning of the new school year. Teacher Chen Jing described the psychological characteristics of adolescent children in vivid and simple language, and explained how parents should establish effective communication with their children, so that parents can more intuitively understand how to get along with adolescent children.

通过此次活动，家长们更直观的见证了孩子的成长和进步，有效地促进了家校联系，另一方面也清楚了解了老师的工作和教学模式，对孩子的学习支持也更有方向了。我校亦希望家长们可以提出更多宝贵意见，共同见证孩子们的成长！

Through this activity, a deeper connection between home and school was cultivated, on the other hand, they also clearly understood the teachers' work and teaching methods, resulting in a deeper understanding of their childrens learning. We also hope that parents can put forward more valuable opinions, actively participate in future activities and jointly witness the growth of the children!
