# Part I活动篇

“但愿人长久，千里共婵娟。”中秋节是2024届国际课程班的同学们自入学以来过的第一个传统节日，他们作为文化传播与交流的使者，在中秋节那天走入学校食堂，与2023届国际课程班的同学以及各位校领导和老师们一起参加了中秋节主题实践活动。在活动中，他们欢声笑语，欣赏了古雅的茶艺，也同时一起动手制作了月饼，不亦乐乎！

制作月饼的过程中，你觉得最困难的是？

凌唯淇：

The most difficult part of the process was to fill the mooncakes with red beans alongside with meat, for the dough was sometimes too dry and lacked elasticity. We asked the canteen staffs for advice and eventually learned the method.

经过今天的活动，你有什么感想？

刘雨萱：

This activity has special meaning for me because I am very lucky to be the host. Before the activity, I spent some time writing and reciting my presentation. I was very nervous before the start of the activity since I am afraid that I will forget what to say. However, it turns out that everything went on smoothly and I was very proud of myself. On top of that, I also get to know several very kind schoolmates from 2310, who helped me with my speech, lent me Han clothing, and brought me courage. The performances on the activity were also really fascinating. During the mooncake making program, I also got to witness funny thoughts of the boys who made mooncakes in unconventional ways.

你们家庆祝中秋节有哪些习俗？你会承担怎样的角色？

黄盛奕：

While we were celebrating the Mid-autumn Festval, our family will watch the moon together in the balcony. Sometimes we will guess if the moon is round enough or if it will be blocked by the cloud or the plane in certain times. If someone wins,the other one need to wash the dishes.It’s a quite fun experience or activity that we had a good time! It’s too sad I needed to wash the dishes this year because I guessed wrong!

Report on the Mid-Autumn activities

Millenia ago, our ancestors residing upon the Loess Plataeu started gazing at the moon every night, pondering the shapes of its ever-changing shades, counting the days as it waxes and wanes. Their observations formed the basis of the Chinese calendar, and we have been reckoning time by looking at the moon ever since. As ancient China was a predominantly agrarian society, nothing meant more to the people and the government than the reaping of crops in autumn: a plentiful harvest was anyone’s dream. Thus, it was natural that some ceremonial events would arise during autumn. Such proceedings made their way through history and settled down into the important festival we know today as Mid-Autumn. It falls every year on the 15th day of the 8th month, when the full moon is at its brightest.

On this special day, what could be more appropriete than delving into the sea of Chinese literature, reviewing and reciting classical works associated with the moon? In each dynasty past, poets mused and sung under the evanescent moonlight, endowing the celestial with various emotional and circumstantial attributes. What an absymal receptacle of symbolism! What an exuberant monument of culture! The moon is indeed an object of deep, legendary meaning to the Chinese! These were my thoughts when the traditional game of Flower Adrift was smoothly demonstrated by refined fellow students from the classes of 2310 and 2410. In this game, a key word is first chosen, and players must in turn recall well-know verses containing this key word. Finally, the first person to run out of fresh material loses the game. Naturally, this is a exciting stress test of one’s literary knowledge, so it was greatly favoured by sophisticated folk throughout the years. The key word selected for this particular day, was of course, “月(yuè)”（ngjwot in MC, ngwat in OC）. To see my friends exhibit such educated charisma is thought-provoking and fun.

It’s typical to eat moon-cakes on Mid-Autumn. They resemble little pies, with a dough crust without and delicious filling within. My favourite sort of moon-cake filling is lotus-fruit paste with embedded marinated duck-egg yolk. It is essentially a brittle oily core which is salty encased within creamy, sweet material. It has the texture of cheese, and is very tasty. It was much to our pleasant surprise that we were offered to bake some mooncakes ourselves. During the process I discovered gladly that many of my friends were somewhat skilled at it, and I improved my skills quickly under their instruction. Some time later we were able to enjoy the delicious homemade mooncakes.

All in all, the Mid-Autumn Festival is unique to the Chinese, and it fosters the Chinese cultural identity. Wherever we go, we carry imprints of our culture, such as this festival, with us in our hearts.

跟随着国旗飘扬，为了庆祝中华人民共和国成立72周年暨中国共产党成立100周年，2024届国际课程班的同学在国庆假期里走访上海的红色基地，深入探索与了解其中的故事与内涵，同时也同步开展了“爱上海的理由”主题研学活动，穿梭于上海的大街小巷，领略其中的美景。下面，让我们一起来看一看他们的想法吧！

经过今天的活动，你有什么感想？

在众多革命烈士令人动容的事迹中，最让印象深刻的是“囚车上的婚礼”。革命烈士蔡博真与伍仲文在革命工作中相爱，却不幸同时被捕入狱，送往刑场。在战友的建议下，他们在囚车上戴着手铐和脚镣举行婚礼。在死亡的威胁面前，他们无怨无悔，坚贞不渝的爱情给予了彼此莫大的力量。他们用这一段至死不渝的爱情故事向一代代的中国人完美诠释了危难面前不畏死亡不惧牺牲的伟大革命精神。他们因共同的理想和信念而相爱，干革命工作的人对死亡并不陌生，但死也应当死的年轻一点。

为了忘却中的纪念：

王予凡季昱辰吕亦佳康慕彤：

走进“一大”会址，它的身姿明显已经沧桑，不过它依旧那么有内涵它的周围都被现代的高楼大厦围得水泄不通，与之形成了鲜明对比，从这也显示了它有着不平凡的经历。

二楼陈列着很多当时的物品，其中珍贵的文物有《共产党宣言》中文全译本、太平天国干王王洪玕著《资政新篇》、秋瑾烈遗墨《光复军军制稿》、李大钊使用过的英文打字机等。陈列室内还按照历史材料开辟了一个蜡像室，形象地刻画出当年出席中共“一大”会议的15位出席者围桌而坐、热烈讨论的生动场景。栩栩如生的蜡像人物增强了陈列的直观性和历史感染性。我认真的观察了一下陈列的展品，还有一些小东西，比如有外国在上海通商时的通商牌子，有租借警察的警徽，有当通商的货币，还有小的大炮，还有宝剑等等，这些物品深深的吸引着我的注意力，我在物品陈列栏中看到一件我认为很特别的东西—当时工人穿的裤子，很烂很烂的，补过无数次，这也反映了当时社会的疾苦，急需有新的力量来拯救当时的中国。在这样的社会背景下，在1921年7月23日中共产党诞生了，给旧中国注入了一股新新的力量。

大家可以享受到美好的校园生活，得益于它给我们创造的校园环境。在九月下旬，我校举办的“我爱我家”主题劳动活动让2024届国际课程班的同学们的生活变得更加多姿多彩。他们走进了自己从未去过的小树林，在绿化带中捡垃圾、小石子等，并且还捡拾银杏交给食堂制作相关美食，让大家为自己心爱的学校贡献出属于自己的微薄之力。

同学们在10月10日的晚上跟随晚风的脚步来到喜马拉雅美术馆，在这里他们看到了文艺复兴时期的画作，也有幸作为”表演者“参加了一场艺术盛宴，看到了60000颗珍珠从天而降，在面前跃动，宛如同学们那绚烂的人生。

由我们班四位同学组成的辩论队伍也在我校的新生辩论赛中崭露头角，在第一、第二轮的辩论赛中取得了胜利，希望他们继续加油！
