The 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar is the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival. Since this year's festival fell on a school day, the school prepared a lantern-theme dinner and lantern-making activities for students and teachers alike, creating a robust, festive vibe. Warmth flowed throughout the campus as teachers and students celebrated as a family. 

农历正月十五是中国传统的元宵节，今年的元宵节是上学日，学校暖心地为留校的住宿生们准备了元宵大餐、元宵花灯制作等活动，浓浓的暖意在校园里流淌。

The school canteen prepared an amazing Lantern Festival dinner for all boarders. The grouper fish and rice soup, with its tender fish meat, creamy soup, and crispy black rice, made everyone salivate. The shiny red Peking roast duck, carefully wrapped with cucumber and spring onions dipped in a special sauce, would satiate even the pickiest gourmet critic. There were also pan-fried scallops with fish roe, salt and pepper shrimps, and a must-have for the festival: delicious and colorful rice dumplings.

学校饭堂为大家准备的元宵大餐惊艳了师生的味蕾：龙趸鱼汤泡饭，汤汁奶白、鲜香浓郁，深海鱼肉细嫩滑弹，黑脆米主打的八种小料同鱼汤绝味交融，让人直吞口水；北京片皮鸭，色泽红润油亮，口感脆爽，配上饼皮、黄瓜、葱丝，再舀上一勺特制的酱料，吃上一口，超级满足！还有鱼子酱煎扇贝、椒盐皮皮虾，当然也少不了节日的主角——好看又好吃的七彩汤圆。

The Boarding Department's lantern-making activity attracted many students. After the house parents patiently explained the steps of lantern making, the students eagerly set out to cut, fold, paste, and assemble the lanterns. In record time, a colorful spread of lanterns materialized. Marveling at their creations, the students were beaming with joy and pride.

住宿部的元宵花灯制作活动吸引了众多住宿生报名参加。指导老师耐心讲解完灯笼制作步骤后，孩子们开始动手裁剪、折叠、粘贴、组装，不一会一个个五颜六色的灯笼就从孩子们的巧手中诞生了，看着自己亲手制作的灯笼，甜甜的笑容洋溢在每个孩子的脸上。

Students from the Cooking Club cooked a steaming pot of dumplings for a charity sale. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Guangzhou Panyu District Children's Welfare Institute, adding another layer of meaning to an already heart-warming festival.

烹饪俱乐部的学生亲手煮了一锅热气腾腾的汤圆进行义卖，募捐的钱将全部捐给广州市番禺区儿童福利院，慈善让节日更加温暖，更有意义。
