十月的最后一个周五,秋日和煦的阳光洒满了校园,桂花的馥郁香气氤氲在每一个角落。大礼堂里不时爆发出阵阵欢乐的笑声——六年级的同学们自编、自导、自演的北欧神话戏剧正在上演。为了这次演出,大家已经准备了一个多月。
最终的舞台效果没有辜负大家的辛苦努力。20出短剧轮番登场,为大家奉献了一份精彩纷呈的戏剧大餐。
同学们并不拘泥于原本的故事,而是在北欧众神人物性格的基础上,进行了各具创意的故事新编。众神参加奥运比赛会有怎样的表现呢?洛基当上了联邦调查员的特工,他会顺利完成任务吗?北欧众神大战罗马众神,谁能更胜一筹?
别致新颖的故事从一开始就牢牢抓住了观众的心,演员们幽默、诙谐的演出也让观众们被逗得前俯后仰,掌声、欢笑声不绝于耳。你方唱罢我登场,刚刚还在卖力捧场的观众转眼就登上了舞台,用自己的表演为大家继续奉献欢乐。
新学期伊始,G6的同学们就在英语课上共同阅读了尼尔·盖曼编写的《北欧神话》。在奇幻曲折的故事情节中,脾气火爆的索尔、诡计多端的洛基、成熟沉稳的奥丁,美丽动人的芙蕾雅......一个个个性鲜明的北欧诸神形象从书本跳入现实,同学们被他们深深地吸引住了。
接下来,在老师的指导下,全年级的同学通过自由组合分成了20个戏剧小组,目标就是对诸神故事进行再创作,以戏剧表演的形式呈现出来。
同学们迅速认领了各自的分工,有天马行空充分发挥想象力的编剧,有精心准备雷神之锤、诸神战袍的道具组,有兢兢业业一到课余时间就组织大家排练的导演,同时每个人也都是演员,承担自己的角色任务。
年级英语组的各位老师也一直关注着戏剧小组的进展,对剧本的编写、演员的表演等都提出了很多建设性的意见。各方的共同努力,才有了最终舞台上的精彩呈现。
通过这次戏剧演出,同学们挖掘了自己的兴趣和特长,在共同的协作磨合中,团队合作能力也得到了进一步的锻炼和提高。在这个灿烂的秋日午后,大家都收获了满满的欢乐,也见证了彼此的成长。
On the last Friday of October, the autumn sun brightened the school’s corners, the sweet smell of may flowers filled every window. Laughter of joy could be heard from the auditorium. Inside of the auditorium, grade six students were performing Norse Mythology plays that they had chosen, directed, and cooked up themselves. For this very moment, students have been working hard for over a month.
The final product did not disappoint. 20 plays went in order, giving everyone a feast for the eyes. Our classmates did not change the original story of the Norse gods; instead, the Norse gods’ personalities as our basic building blocks, we created a whole new story. What would happen when the gods attended the Olympics? When Loki, the trickster god, became an FBI agent, would he complete his task? Who would raise the gold belt in the war of the Norse gods versus the Roman gods? The creative stories caught the audience’s heart and eyes from the start, not even mentioning the humorous and lifelike act. The audience was tickled by the plays, the sound of clapping and laughing filled the auditorium. The laughing audience quickly turned into determined actors, ready to make the crowd laugh once more.
As the new semester started, the grade six students started to read Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology. In the twisting plot, hot tempered Thor, the trickster god Loki, calm Odin, charming Freya......the lifelike gods danced on the pages as our classmates became deeply enchanted with them.
Afterwards, under the teachers’ instructions, the students were split into 20 play groups, the main goal being recreating the gods’ stories, and present it in play form. The students quickly acknowledged what they were supposed to work on: some of them spread their imagination, some of them prepared props such as Mjollnir, the hammer of the god of thunder, some of them directed their classmates in the minute amount of time during breaks. Meanwhile, everyone was an actor, being the god they are supposed to be. Every single English teacher also participated in the plays, giving important advices and testing them in every way. With all effort, a fabulous stage was finally made.
After the Norse Mythology play, classmates discovered their hobbies and talents, and by working together, we also leveled up in our cooperation skills. After this afternoon filled with sunshine, joy, and laughter, every one of us gained happiness, and witnessed each other’s growth.
