上海市民办万源城协和双语学校初中部校园运动会

秋风送爽，晴空万里，又到了一年中金桂飘香的时节。11月18日，阳光明媚的早晨，万源协和的操场上充满了同学们的欢声笑语。大家期盼已久的初中部秋季运动会正式拉开帷幕。同学们一个个容光焕发，脸上洋溢着自信的笑容。大家都跃跃欲试，想在比赛中为班级争光。

It’s autumn now with nice weather and bright sky. It is the season for osmanthus again. On November 18th, the field of SUIS was filled with students’ laughter. The sports day, which we had been looking forward to for many days, officially began. Every students was excited to win glory for the class.

在全校长的致辞声“初中部运动会正式开始！”中，运动会正式拉开帷幕！首先，进行了庄严的升国旗仪式，护旗手们昂首挺胸，英姿飒爽，动作整齐划一大步向前，充满了气势！紧接着，全体同学操练了活力满满的广播操，运动会正式开始啦！

Principle Paul Quan officially announced that the sports day starts now! First of all, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held, with the flag guards standing tall and valiant, moving neatly and steadily, and also full of momentum! After that, all the students practiced the energetic broadcast gymnastics, and finally the sports day officially started!

广播操热身展现了我校初中生优秀的精神风貌。同学们整齐划一的动作和步伐，充分展现了大家蓬勃向上的青春活力。每个班级的同学们都排着整齐的队伍，像一排排小标兵。

Broadcast exercise was the first sport event, which showed our middle school students’ excellent attitude and spirit. All the students were in perfect order with unified actions. Each class of students are lined up in neat teams, like rows of small pacesetters.

今年，我们还新增了四项个人比赛：一分钟跳绳作为传统的中小学生体育项目，一直是对大家爆发力的最好挑战。赛场上，同学们快速地摇着绳子，按自己的节奏跳着；掷实心球作为考验力量的核心项目，也收到了大家的欢迎，同学们使出浑身力气，希望将球扔的远远的；50x8，是对耐力和爆发力的双重考验，跑道上战况激烈，来自各个班的体育健将一决高下；最为精彩的还是800米和1000米的跑步比赛，同学们都渴望能在此项目上打破纪录，为班级争光。最后冲刺的画面，更是令人印象深刻。

This year, we have also added four individual competitions. One-minute rope skipping, a traditional sport for primary and secondary school students, has always been the best challenge to everyone's explosive power. On the field, the students quickly shook the rope and jump according to their own rhythm. As a core subject to test strength, throwing the ball also received everyone's welcome. The students tried their best to throw the ball far. 50x8 is a double test of endurance and explosive power. The race was fierce with athletes from each class to compete. The most exciting race is the 800 meters and 1000 meters running race in which the students were eager to break the record, winning honor for the class.

接下来是长绳比赛。各班参赛同学配合得十分完美：绳子在地上有节奏地拍打着，同学们一个接一个轻盈跃过绳子，摇绳的同学也十分默契，速度不紧不慢，很有规律。场边观战的同学们也十分“给力”，为同班同学们加油打气，十分热闹。

Next it was long rope jumping competition.  The students of each class cooperated perfectly: the rope beat rhythmically on the ground, the students jumped over the rope one by one, and the students who shook the rope also cooperated well with regular pace. The audience were also very excited, cheering for the classmates, "Come on! Come on! Don't be nervous!"
