近日，小学国际部浦东和浦西两校区五年级的同学们带着好奇与憧憬来到了上实中学部参观体验。中学国际部曹怡主任，老师们，以及学生代表们热烈迎接大家的到来。学生代表林沐风，孟震泓为同学们在水舞台拍下了第一张合影。

Recently, the fifth graders from SESID Pudong and Puxi campus visited the middle school campus, with their curiosity and expectations of junior high school life. The fifth graders delightedly got off the bus and greeted teachers from the junior high school in a proper manner. Ms. Cao Yi , her colleagues,and four student representatives welcomed them as well. Before starting this amazing tour, Leo Lin, Ryan Meng took the first photo for the students in front of the “water stage”.

同学们按班级被分为了几个组。前几组同学分别在学生代表们的引导下，参观了图书馆、科创楼、社团楼、体育馆等标志性地标。大家在笑脸墙前驻足片刻，寻找自己认识的伙伴；在历史悠久的斯坦威钢琴前观摩，体会艺术风韵；在独具设计感的梯田中庭和阳光工作室愉快合影。

The students were divided into several groups. Under the guidance of student representatives , first group visited the library, Science and Technology Building, gymnasium and other landmarks of the school. Everyone paused for a moment in front of the wall of smiling faces, looking for someone they knew. They learnt about art in front of the historical Steinway piano. They took photos in the sunlight workshop and on the uniquely designed stairs.

与此同时，另外几组同学们已经进入图书馆三楼听外教Helen老师带来关于figurative language的有趣课程，同学们被Helen老师的小课堂深深吸引，在课堂上，Helen老师精心设计了一系列教学环节并吸引小朋友们积极参与互动，同时将角色扮演融入教学内容，让更多学生愿意主动配合老师完成课堂学习任务并积极表达自己的观点。

At the same time, students from other groups went to the third floor of the library to listen to Ms.Helen's lesson on figurative language. The students were fully attracted by a unique grammar lesson taught by Helen, the foreign teacher in SESID. During the class, Helen combined a series of teaching link with role playing, which made the students involved in class as well as express their own opinions.

其中，科创楼的现代科技体验中心是同学们表现最积极的地方，这里有趣的互动体验教室充分展现了寓教于乐的理念，使得同学们在互动式的教学方式中轻松获取知识，三屏教室更是以全方位立体的方式给同学们带来了独特的视听体验。随后的参观中包含4楼的生物实验室及6楼的数学建模教室， 同学们纷纷投去了好奇的目光，想要对更多新鲜知识一探究竟。

The modern science and technology exploration center in the KeChuang Building became students’ favorite. Interactive experience in the classroom fully demonstrates the concept of edutainment, enabling students to acquire knowledge easily. In addition, the three-screen classroom brings unique audio-visual experience to students in a holistic way. During the following visit, students also visited the biology laboratory on the 4th floor and the mathematical modeling classroom on the 6th floor. From their curious glances, we can deeply feel that they were eager for more knowledge.

活动最后，大家来到食堂一起享用了自助餐。同学们依依不舍地与各位老师和学生代表们道了别，结束了半日参观之旅。

At the end of the visit，students went to the canteen to enjoy the buffet. The students said goodbye to the teachers and student representatives and ended the half-day visit.

体验活动虽然短暂，但无疑已在孩子们心中种下一颗期望融入上实国际大家庭的种子，上实中学国际部期待你们的到来！

Although the visit was short, it has undoubtedly planted a seed in the hearts of the children who want to integrate into SESID. We look forward to meeting you again in the middle school campus!
