广州贝赛思国际学校住宿部大讲堂启动

Organized by the Boarding Department of BASIS International School Guangzhou, the much-anticipated BIGZ Talk has come back after a one-year break. Insightful lecturers are invited to share their knowledge, experiences and visions with boarders every Sunday night starting at 8:00pm. Three sessions have been successfully launched so far.

广州贝赛思国际学校住宿部大讲堂于近日启动，每周日住宿生返校日的晚八点准时开讲，首期已安排了三场系列讲座。

We had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Du from the University of Western Australia in our first session, who fascinated students with an informative lecture on human body acoustics. Following Dr. Hu's lecture were Boys Talk and Girls Talk given by Ms. Hou, a chief physician of Guangzhou Medical University. With more than 20 years of experience in sex education, she presented an inspiring lecture touching upon adolescent physiology and psychology, not only benefiting students but also sparking heated discussion among parents.

第一场大讲堂邀请了来自西澳大学的杜博士。杜博士从他研究的声学领域出发，给学生献上了一场生动的人体中的声学科普讲座，引起了学生浓厚的兴趣，随后举办了两场性教育讲座，男女生各自以专场形式进行，来自广州医科大学的侯主任，是一位有着近20年的性教育经验的资深讲师，讲座主题涉及青春期生理、心理及情感等方面，学生受益匪浅，在家长当中也引起了积极的反响。

The comeback of BIGZ Talk has enriched students' academic life, broadened their visions and holistically developed their life skills. 

广州贝赛思国际学校大讲堂的成功启动，丰富了住宿生们的校园学习和生活，有利于拓宽学生的视野，培养学生的学术兴趣，提升学生综合素质，增加学生的生活常识。
