广州贝赛思国际学校“小百灵鸟”的音乐会

The Singing Extravaganza took place in the Theatre on Wednesday 3rd November from 6 pm 6:45 pm involving grades 6-12 choir students. It was a fantastic event and a packed house.

11月3日下午，在学校小剧院，由来自6至12年级的学生组成的合唱团为大家献上了一场听觉盛宴，当晚演出现场座无虚席，“小百灵鸟们”的动人歌声让到场的每一位观众都乘着音乐的翅膀翱翔天际。

The student performed eight songs beautiful songs for the audience. The first song was called 'We Dance,' accompanied by the grades 8-12 Jazz Band led by Mr. Wangemann. This Caribbean-inspired song utilized dance and movement with stunning vocals and a lively rhythm section that kept everyone dancing.  

“小百灵鸟”一共为观众带来了了八首动听的歌曲。第一首歌叫《我们跳舞》，由Mr. Wangemann率领的8-12年级爵士乐队伴奏。这首加勒比风格的歌曲运用了令人惊叹的人声和活泼的节奏，让在场的每个人的心都随着音乐的节奏翩翩起舞。

The student's performed many show-stopping songs such as 'A Million Dreams from the Greatest Showman, 'City of Stars' from the movie La La Land, and 'How Far I'll Go' from Moana. The show also included music from Scotland with a song called Yundah sung by the entire choir with strength and emotion, which touched the audience with its soft vocals and warm sound and singing a song called 'Shalom' with its mixture of Hebrew and Latin in a prayer-like state.

“小百灵鸟们”还演唱了许多让人印象深刻的歌曲，比如《最伟大的表演者》 （A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman）、电影《爱乐之城》 （La La Land）中的《星光之城》（City of Stars）以及《海洋奇想》 （Moana）中的《我要走多远》 （How Far I'll Go）；演出的曲目中还包括苏格兰音乐《芸达》 （Yundah），这首歌由整个合唱团以唱诗班的形式演唱，充满力量和情感，“小百灵鸟”柔和、温暖的声音直击观众内心；还有《Shalom》（Shalom），这首歌混合了希伯来语和拉丁语，虽然无法理解歌词，但是却能从孩子们心中流出的旋律中体会到歌曲作者对和平的祈祷。

The concert pushed the student's musical abilities and allowed them to have a unique choir experience. The choir is looking forward to the Christmas performances.  

音乐会的成功进一步提升了学生的音乐素养，让他们的音乐生涯中拥有了一次独特的体验。我们期待着他们圣诞节的演出。
