On August 26th, the sun was shining brightly, but what was even more dazzling was the light of knowledge and the boundless expectation for the future in the eyes of teachers and students. WES ushered in a new semester full of hope and challenges.

Mr. Matt, Deputy Director of LS, addressed the opening ceremony with his warm and firm voice. Today, we are not only welcoming a new semester, but also planting a seed of dream in every student's heart - to be your own champion and to go forward no matter what the storm is.

Ms. Jessica, the teacher representative, came to the front of the stage, her speech was deep and sincere, she mentioned that as teachers, we are not only the transmitter of knowledge, but also the guide and partner of the children on their way to growth. In the coming days, we shall work hand in hand, grow together, and let love and wisdom bloom in every corner of WES.

The student representatives, G5A Li Zeki and G8B Sophia, shared their learning experiences and future prospects with their young but resonating voices. In their words, they affirmed their past efforts and will bravely meet the future challenges, showing the positive spirit of WES students.

G6B班的陶星辰同学带来了海外主题夏令营经历的精彩分享。她生动地讲述了在夏令营中的点点滴滴，那些关于勇气、友谊与成长的故事。夏令营的经历，不仅丰富了同学们的假期生活，更让孩子们未来成为优秀世界公民奠定了基础。
Abby from G6B brought a wonderful sharing of her overseas themed summer camp experience. She vividly recounted the bits and pieces of the camp, those stories about courage, friendship and growth. The summer camp experience not only enriches the students' vacation, but also lays the foundation for the children to become good global citizens in the future.

The culmination of the ceremony was the new student's house sorting ceremony. Under the organization of Mr. Allen, Head of House, the new students received the certificate of admission with excitement, which is not only a symbol of honor, but also the starting point of their new journey.
