“我的家在中国”广州暨大港澳子弟学校9月1日开学典礼，350多名新生进校正式开课 　　“My Hometown is China”- Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong & Macao Students officially start on 1st Sep, more than 350 students attended the opening ceremony.
　　学校特别邀请了暨南大学副校长王兵，中国科学院院士、暨南大学粤港澳中枢神经再生研究院院长、美国发明家学会院士以及学校总顾问苏国辉先生，与总校长郑景亮、执行校长封岩以及全校教职工和新同学，共同见证了学校开学日。 　　The school specially invited Professor Wang Bing, Vice President of Jinan University and Dr.So Kwok-Fai, Academician of CAS(Chinese Academy of Sciences), Head of GHM Institute of CNS Regeneration of Jinan University, NAI(National Academy of Inventors) Fellow and Chief consultant of ASJ as the guests of honor. Chief Principal Cheng King Leung, Executive Principal Jessica Feng, all teachers and students attended and witnessed the first school day. 　　我的家在中国“My hometown is China”
　　据悉，这次开学日的主题为“我的家在中国”，寓意同学们在广州暨大港澳子弟学校收获成长，在中国这片土地感受中华文化的魅力，成为具有国际视野的青少年。“我的家在中国”寄语了学校对学生的祝福，同学们在中华这片土地、这个校园里生活和学习，这里就是他们的一个家，承载着孩子们的童年与少年时代的梦想。 　　The theme of the first school day is “My hometown is China”, expecting students can achieve growth in ASJ, to feel the charisma of the Chinese Culture in the land of China and become youngsters with international perspective. “My hometown is China” indicated the blessing to students from the school, students live on the land of China, live and study on this campus and this is like a home to them, carrying dreams of their childhood. 　　Hi，在九月的第一天 　　Hey, you there! We met on the 1st of September. 　　你没有怯懦，自信大方牵起新同学的手，积极融入全新、也舒适温暖的环境，父母和老师都为你骄傲。 　　You were so brave, held hands with new classmates confidently and generously. You tried your best to fit in the new, comfortable and warm environment, your parents and teachers were all proud of you. 　　在升旗仪式上，由总校长郑景亮先生、执行校长封岩女士分别担任升旗、护旗手，五星红旗在雄壮的国歌声中冉冉升起。 　　During the flag raising ceremony, Chief Principal Cheng King Leung is the flag raising person and Executive Principal Jessica Feng is the flag protector. The Chinese National Flag raised beautifully amid the majestic national anthem. 　　广州暨大港澳子弟学校总校长郑景亮先生在开学典礼上致辞，与同学们分享“如何成为一个成功的学习者”，并预告了开学后第一个月的学习主题将延续开学典礼的主题“我的家在中国”，让同学更了解自己的国民身份，同时也会让同学去筹备一系列十一国庆活动。 　　Mr. Cheng King Leung, Chief Principal of ASJ shared “How to be a successful learner” in his speech with all students in the opening ceremony and announced that the theme of study for the first month will be “My hometown is China”. This is aimed at helping students to understand their national identity, they will also be invited to prepare for a series of activities for the National Day on 1st Oct. 　　昂首挺胸，宣读学生公约，许下“尊师重道，学以润身”的诺言。 　　You stood tall and read out the‘student convention' , promise to honour the teacher and respect his teaching, and become a better self. 　　开学典礼活动现场，16位同学表演了诗歌朗诵《香江赞》，清朗坚定的童声伴随旋律优美的琴声，见证了开学日的正式到来。 　　At the opening ceremony, 16 students perform the poetry recital A Tribute to Hong Kong. The clear and firm voice of the children and beautiful sound of the piano witness the official start of the school term. 　　感谢你的出现，见证了今天这特别的仪式。今天不单是开学典礼，更是学校的一个重要里程碑。 　　Thank you for showing up to witness this special ceremony.
