北京市二十一世纪实验学校创办于1993年，是全国首家“政府出政策、企业出资金、专家办学校”的寄宿制新型实验学校。2010年4月，海淀区人民政府正式批复学校更名为北京市二十一世纪国际学校；2011年6月，学校举行揭牌仪式，正式转型为海淀区首家国际学校。

School Introduction
Beijing 21st Century Experimental School was established in 1993. It is the first full boarding school with Policy Support from the Government, Capital from Enterprises and Management from Experts. In Apirl 2010, Haidian Disctrict Government officially approved its name change from 21st Century Experimental School to 21st Century International School; in June 2011, it became the first international school in Haidian District and held an inauguration ceremony.
The school cooperates with Beijing National Day School (BNDS) and US Fairmont Private School (FPS), share their quality educational and research resources and establishes advanced rules and regulations, administration procedures and performance assessment system. It takes the lead in non-govermental international education. The school is divided into Primary School Department, Junior High School Department, Senior High School Department and International Students Department. It is the first to advocate for bilingual education and complementation of Chinese and western curriculum strengths, and establishes primary school EP English Class, junior high IP, senior high AP, and integrated HSK program for international students. Its China-US Double senior High School Diplomas Program with FPS integrates the quintessence of Chinese and US cultures, and provides personalized educational services, which prepares students for foreign teaching methods and way of thinking. Students of this program can get two diplomas on the basis of required credits, which lays solid foundation for their application to world-known universities.
